Private Pilates Training
|
West Wood Health & Fitness invites you to take advantage of our Specialty Training Studio located on the third floor. The Studio has Pilates equipment complete with the Cadillac (trapeze table), Reformers, Wunda Chair and boxes. This equipment, along with apparatus is used to complete the exercises Joseph Pilates developed over 80 years ago, then called Contrology. Clients range in age from 16 to 85 years old. Men & women just like you who want stronger and leaner bodies will benefit from this training. In addition, tri-athletes, and post-rehabilitation patients can take advantage of this very exciting form of movement. The Studio is open six days a week. Sixty or thirty minutes of Private instruction on the Pilates equipment is available.

Duet Pilates Training
|
The West Wood Specialty Training Studio is your venue for top notch Pilates Duet Training. Share the fun! Our Pilates instructors are great at running fun, challenging duet sessions. Duets are semi-private sessions. Please divide the duets prices by two. It is recommended that you take 3-5 private sessions prior to forming a duet. The Studio is open six days a week. Sixty or thirty minutes of Duet instruction on the Pilates equipment is available.

Individual Yoga Training

Take your yoga practice to a new level, compliment your current workouts, or learn more about yoga before you join a group class with individual one-hour yoga training sessions. Learn yoga basics, or challenge yourself further. If handstands are your goal, we can work on it. Your instructor will meet with you in the Mind-Body Studio to evaluate your current strength and flexibility, and create a yoga practice just for you. Yoga can help stretch and strengthen muscles that are tight or weak due to a lifetime of sports-specific training, or even repetitive movements within your job or everyday life. Yoga can challenge and improve balance, and calm a busy mind. Take time for yourself and try individual yoga training, or bring a friend and schedule a semi-private session.

Individual Personal Life Coaching
|
Our Individual Personal Life Coaching program is designed to help you reduce stress and achieve personal life goals and experiences by working 1-on-1 with a certified life coach. Your personal life coach will work with you to clarify goals, implement methods, address obstacles and take actions that are a perfect fit for you, your personal values and life style. 30 minute sessions are available after attending 1 workshop.

Group Personal Life Coaching
|
One of our dynamic Life Coaches will work with up to six people who want to participate in group life coaching. The cost of the session will be divided between the number of people attending the workshop. Workshops will be tailored to general life coaching or specific topics, upon group request. Member prices valid for the group when one of the group is a member.

Watsu © is a therapy utilizing the warmth, buoyancy and resistance of water, enabling the therapist to facilitate increased relaxation and range of motion beyond client’s normal abilities. Watsu © utilizes the dynamics of water and the principals of Zen Shiatsu to increase energy to the meridians of the body, resulting in an opportunity of reduced pain and stress. Jeanette Schachtner has had extensive training in this very special practice of water therapy and is excited to share the benefits of Watsu © with you.

Patricia Lawn, CH, CS W, enjoys working with people of various ages, from young children through adults and seniors. She believes true freedom comes from within and that the body-mind is the greatest untapped power in the world today. By utilizing the powers of the mind, body and spirit . . . self-confidence, control, determination and healing are enhanced. Sessions generally run 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Group sessions are available $25/person if at least one is a member. $30/person if all are non-members.
