The health and well-being of our members is our number one priority.  We are taking a calculated and phased approach with the reopening of the ProHealth West Wood Health & Fitness Center with your safety in mind.

Keeping Our Members Safe

At ProHealth West Wood Health & Fitness Center, we are all about health and wellness. The team at West Wood is taking extra precautions to keep our members safe during the global pandemic. The steps we are taking are in keeping with guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.

Cleaning – a comprehensive approach

• Enhanced cleaning
  • Continual disinfection of high-touch surfaces throughout the club using an EPA-registered disinfectant.
  • Deep cleaning every night.
  • Team members have been trained on new cleaning protocols.
• Available to members
  • Disinfectant wipes are readily available to members throughout the building
  • Hand sanitizer is conveniently located throughout the club

As You Arrive

• Members will have a health screening as they arrive at West Wood.
  • Anyone who has a fever over 100.4 degrees or exhibits other signs of illness will be asked to leave and seek medical attention.
  • All employees will be screened as they arrive for work.

Protecting Each Other

Masks  

• Effective immediately, face masks are optional for all West Wood members who have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19. Fully vaccinated means that at least two weeks have passed since your second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or two weeks have passed since you received a single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
• Face masks will continue to be required for those who have not yet been vaccinated or have not completed the vaccination process.

Social Distancing

• Members are encouraged to stay at least six feet away from others at all times.
• Group fitness classes will be limited in size and will require reservations.
• Fitness equipment has been spaced or marked for social distancing.

Aquatics

• Capacity restrictions are in place in all aquatics areas. Signs will be posted to show capacity restrictions.
• West Wood goggles and other shared equipment will not be available for member use.

Locker Rooms

• Capacity restrictions will be in place for the whirlpools, steam rooms and saunas.
• Locker keys will be disinfected after each use.

Personal Training

• Trainers will practice social distancing during one-to-one sessions and will avoid any physical contact.
• Team members will disinfect each piece of equipment before and after each use.

Group fitness 

• Reservations are required for all classes.
• Class participants will be spaced at least 6 feet apart.
• When equipment is needed, it will be laid out for you at the beginning of the class.
• Equipment will be sanitized after each class.

Fitness Floor

• Capacity limitations are in place.
• Equipment will be spaced or marked for social distancing.
• Fitness equipment and other high-touch surfaces will be cleaned continually throughout the day.
• Members are encouraged to make frequent use of hand sanitizer and to wipe down equipment with disinfecting wipes before and after use.

Kids Club

• Kids Club will be opening June 14^th 2021

Basketball Courts

• When the courts are not being used for other programming, members may use the courts while practicing social distancing.

Family Fitness Time

• Family Fitness Time is not available at this time.

The Spa

• All tools are sanitized using Barbicide after each use.
• After each guest, the salon chairs, rolling carts, spa tables, face cradles and countertops are cleaned with anti-bacterial wipes.

Racquetball Court

• The racquetball court is not available for use at this time.
